Lepidium coronopus (L.) Al-Shehbaz συνώνυμο: Coronopus squamatus (Forssk.) Asch.
Coronopus didymus: Annual or biennial; stems 5–15(–35) cm, decumbent to ascending, glabrous or sparsely pilose. Leaves pinnatisect with pinnatifid segments, glabrous. Racemes axillary, remaining rather dense in fruit. Petals minute (c. 0.5 mm) or absent. Fruiting pedicels somewhat longer than silicula. Siliculae c. 1.5 × 2.5 mm, somewhat compressed, emarginate, reticulate, rugose, consisting of 2 reniform, 1-seeded, indehiscent units; style very short or absent.
Differing from C. didymus in the following characters: Petals 1–1.5 mm, longer than sepals, white; siliculae larger (c. 2.5 × 3.5 mm), rugose-verrucose with raised ridges, narrowed at apex into the short style.
