Ajuga chamaepitys (L.) Schreb.

Annual or short-lived perennial, soft-pubescent throughout. Stems usually decumbent and branched from base, 5–20(–30) cm. Lower leaves entire, the upper 3-partite into broadly linear, obtuse segments. Verticillasters 2–4-flowered. Corolla 16–22 mm; lower lip with 2 short lateral lobes and a much larger central lobe; the latter bright yellow, with some darker spots at base and expanded above into a broadly obcordate part. Nutlets 2.5–4 mm, transversely rugose.
