Spathe pale greenish on both sides; tube broadly cylindrical, c. half as long as limb; the latter ovate-acuminate. Total length of spadix (stipe + appendix) 6–13 cm, with dark yellow, cylindrical appendix about as long as pale yellow stipe. Female flowers cream, the male yellow. Pistillodes and staminodes extended into filiform bristles. Lower sterile zone (between female and male flowers) 3–7 mm; upper sterile zone (between male flowers and appendix) 3.5–6 mm.
