Ornithogalum montanum Cirillo

Bulb c. 20 × 16 mm, broadly ovoid, with or without offsets. Leaves 3–7, spreading, equalling or exceeding inflorescence, broadly linear to narrowly elliptical, 4–20 mm wide, green to greyish-green, concolorous, without a white stripe, glabrous. Aerial part of scape 2–5 cm. Flowers 5–15(–30) in a lax corymb. Pedicels erecto-patent at anthesis, patent in fruit. Bracts much shorter than pedicels. Perianth segments 12–20 mm, white above; green stripe on back c. 2/3 as wide as segment. Capsule obovoid, with 6 obtuse ribs.
