Malva pusilla Sm.
Malva parviflora: Prostrate to erect annual 10–40 cm, subglabrous or with sparse, forked or stellate hairs on stem and leaves. Leaves long-petiolate; blade suborbicular to reniform, cordate at base, shallowly 3–5(–7)-lobed, crenate. Flowers in small clusters of (1–)2–4 in leaf axils; pedicels up to 10 mm. Epicalyx segments narrowly lanceolate. Calyx accrescent and ± scarious in fruit, with very broadly triangular sepals. Petals 4–5 mm, equalling or slightly exceeding calyx, pale mauve, glabrous. Mericarps with sharp, narrowly winged edges, transversely reticulate-rugose and pubescent on dorsal face, with strong radiating veins on lateral faces; adjacent margins of mericarps appearing shallowly toothed when seen from above.
Πολύ παρόμοια με την M. parviflora, but fruiting pedicels often longer; calyx scarcely accrescent; mericarps with sharp but not winged edges, adjacent margins appearing smooth when seen from above.
