Linaria triphylla (L.) Mill.

Glabrous, glaucous annual. Stem simple or moderately branched from base, suberect, rather robust, 15–35 cm tall. Leaves elliptical, somewhat fleshy, usually in whorls of 3 below and opposite or occasionally alternate above. Inflorescence a dense terminal raceme. Calyx teeth 4–8 mm, ovate-oblong, obtuse. Corolla rather large and showy, 22–30 mm long (incl. slightly curved spur 7–9 mm), pale yellow with darker yellow palate and purple spur. Capsule c. 7 mm, subglobose. Seeds c. 1.5 mm, acutely angled, strongly rugose-alveolate, greyish-brown.
