Anthemis auriculata Boiss.

Appressed-pubescent annual 10–40 cm tall, sparingly branched. Leaves 1- or 2-pinnatisect. Capitula rather large, long-pedunculate. Inner phyllaries oblong, obtuse, with scarious or pale brown margins. Ligulate florets fertile; ligules up to 12 mm, white. Receptacular scales oblanceolate, mucronate. Achenes c. 2 mm, obtusely quadrangular in cross-section, with thick ribs; auricle well developed (c. 1 mm), thick and opaque on outer achenes, thinner and hyaline on the inner.
