Nasturtium officinale R.Br.
Subglabrous perennial herb. Stem rather stout, hollow, prostrate and rooting below, ascending to erect above and up to 40(–100) cm tall. Leaves pinnatisect with 2–8 pairs of ± elliptical, entire or slightly dentate leaflets. Racemes elongating in fruit; pedicels patent or somewhat deflexed, 8–12 mm. Petals c. 4 mm, white. Fruits 10–18 × 2–2.5 mm, cylindrical, often somewhat curved and torulose; valves thin, with weak midvein. Seeds numerous.
