Hippocrepis biflora Spreng.

Subglabrous annual, mostly procumbent, often with several stems. Leaves imparipinnate; leaflets 3–6 pairs, truncate. Flowers 1–2(–3), axillary, subsessile; pedicels glabrous. Corolla yellow; blade of standard attenuate at base. Legume broadly linear, straight or slightly curved, divided into 4–8 horseshoe-shaped segments, often with blunt, colourless papillae.
