Tuberaria guttata (L.) Fourr.
Erect, usually unbranched annual, 10–30 cm tall. Basal leaves in a rosette, often ± withered at anthesis. Stem usually patent-pilose. Cauline leaves in few pairs, the lower oblong-elliptical, without stipules, the upper narrower, often with stipules. Flowers in lax terminal cymes; pedicels filiform. Inner sepals ovate, with inconspicuous veins. Petals very variable in size (occasionally lacking), lemon yellow, often with a large, dark reddish-purple blotch at base. Stigmas subsessile.
