Μέχρι 20 εκ; βλαστοί όρθιοι ή ανερχόμενοι. Φύλλα 5-11 Χ 0·5-1 χιλ, αντίθετα τουλάχιστον προς τα κάτω, γραμμικά, linear-lanceolate or narrowly elliptical, obtuse or mucronate, glabrous, pubescent or glandular-pubescent, with strongly revolute margins, stipulate, with small, leafy, axillary shoots. Inflorescence 3- to 9-flowered; pedicels much longer than the subtending bracts. Capsule (4-)6-seeded. 2n =32. (Περιγραφή απο Flora Europaea)

Bushy dwarf shrub, strongly woody at base, with many slender, ascending to suberect flowering stems 10–25 cm, usually eglandular-puberulent throughout and patently glandular-pubescent in the inflorescence. Φύλλα αντίθετα, γραμμικά, με φανερά αναδιπλωμένα περιθώρια και πλευρικές συστάδες μικρότερων φύλλων. Ταξιανθία με 3–8 άνθη with slender pedicels much longer than subtending bracts.
