Bellevalia dubia (Guss.) Rchb.

Bulb usually c. 3 × 2.5 cm, broadly ovoid. Leaves 3–6, equalling or exceeding scape, linear-oblanceolate, 4–7(–12) mm wide, flat or slightly canaliculate, with smooth margins. Scapes 1–4, 15–30 cm at anthesis. Raceme 15–35-flowered, oblong-pyramidal in bud, soon cylindrical. Pedicels 3–6 mm, erecto-patent at first, later patent or slightly recurved, not much elongating in fruit. Perianth 5–7 mm, broadly cylindrical, bright blue at early anthesis, after fertilization soon becoming brownish with short, whitish teeth. Valves of capsule c. 10 mm, broadly obovate.
