Satureja thymbra L.
Much-branched, suberect, usually grey-puberulent shrublet, 15–40 cm tall. Leaves 9–14 mm, linear to narrowly obovate, acute, scabrid, gland-dotted. Verticillasters many-flowered, dense, subglobose, distinctly separated; floral leaves equalling verticillasters. Bracteoles conspicuous, acuminate, ± equalling calyx. Calyx regular, pilose, with acuminate teeth slightly shorter than tube. Corolla 8–12 mm, usually rose-pink.
