Τεύκριο η χαμαιδρύς (Teucrium chamaedrys L.)
Perennial with woody, much-branched rhizome producing several ascending to erect, slender, herbaceous flowering stem 10–20(–40) cm. Indumentum mostly eglandular, sometimes also with short glandular hairs in inflorescence. Middle cauline leaves short-petiolate; blade elliptic-obovate, cuneate at base, dentate to incised. Flowers in lax, 4–8-flowered verticillasters forming a raceme. Floral leaves like the cauline but somewhat narrower. Calyx c. 6 mm, campanulate; teeth 2/3 as long as tube, triangular, sharply acute to acuminate, purplish. Corolla 12–15 mm, pinkish- to reddish-purple; middle lobe of lower lip obovate, ± truncate; lateral lobes short.
