Μικρομέρια η νευρώδης (Micromeria nervosa (Desf.) Benth.)
Micromeria myrtifolia: Woody-based perennial 10–40 cm tall. Stems several, ascending to erect, simple or sparingly branched, retrorsely pubescent. Leaf pairs well separated. Leaves short-petiolate; blade 4–8 mm, ovate-elliptical, with inconspicuous lateral veins, sparsely pubescent. Lower verticillasters distant, the upper ± confluent, all consisting of 2 very dense, short-pedunculate, 6–12-flowered, subglobose cymes. Calyx c. 3.5 mm, straight, villous in throat and patent-pilose throughout; teeth narrowly triangular, erect, 1/3 as long as tube. Corolla c. 5 mm, purplish. Nutlets obtuse.
Differing from M. myrtifolia in the following characters: Cauline leaves ovate, with conspicuous lateral veins; verticillasters rather lax, with peduncles of cymes half as long as floral leaves; calyx patent-pilose; teeth somewhat unequal, subulate, ciliate, the upper curved, all at least half as long as tube.
