Reseda phyteuma L.
Annual, biennial or occasionally short-lived perennial, 10–50 cm tall. Outer basal leaves spathulate and ± entire, the others pinnatifid with 1–2 pairs of oblanceolate lobes. Flowers in few- to many-flowered racemes; pedicels 3–8 mm at anthesis, patent. Sepals and petals 5–6. Sepals oblanceolate, persistent, accrescent. Petals 3–4(–5) mm, white; lateral part of superior petal pinnatifid on the outer side into 3–7 linear segments. Stamens 15–20, pinkish. Carpels and stigmas 3. Capsule 13–14 × 6–10 mm, obovoid-cylindrical, nodding. Seeds 2.0–2.2 mm, with transverse verrucose ridges.
