Lens odemensis Ladizinsky

Lens orientalis: Slender, ascending, rather densely patent-pubescent annual 10–15(–25) cm tall. Leaves 3–5-paired; leaflets obovate to narrowly elliptical, mucronate to emarginate; upper leaves often with simple tendril; stipules entire, obliquely lanceolate. Peduncle slightly longer than subtending leaf, 1–2(–3)-flowered, aristate. Calyx teeth much longer than tube. Corolla 5–7 mm, slightly longer than calyx, whitish, pale blue or purplish. Legume broadly rhomboid, 8–11 × 4–7 mm, glabrous. Seeds 1 or 2, c. 3 mm in diam., lenticular, greyish or light brown with darker spots.

Είδος αβέβαιης ταξινόμησης, προφανώς πολύ κοντά στα L. culinaris (καλλιεργούμενη φακή) και L. orientalis, differing mainly in the semihastate stipules with a few, rather blunt teeth on the outer, curved margin.
