Vicia tetrasperma: Slender, straggling, subglabrous annual, 20–60 cm tall. Leaves 3–6-paired; stipules entire or semi-hastate; leaflets linear-oblong; tendril simple or branched. Peduncles filiform, shorter than or equalling subtending leaf. Racemes 1–3-flowered. Calyx campanulate, not gibbous; teeth slightly unequal, narrowly triangular, shorter than tube. Corolla 4–7 mm, pale blue or pale purplish. Legume 8–14 × c. 3.5 mm, oblong, glabrous. Seeds 3–4(–6), subglobose, c. 1.8 mm in diam., dark brown, dull.

Resembling V. tetrasperma, but differing in the following characters: Appressed-pubescent throughout, especially on underside of leaves as well as legumes; leaflets wider, usually elliptical; peduncles generally longer than subtending leaf; longest calyx teeth exceeding tube; legume somewhat longer and relatively narrower; seeds 4–6.

Με πολύ μικρά άνθη και πολύ μικρούς χέδρωπες (12-16 Χ 3-4 χιλ), φύλλα με 3-5 ζευγη φυλλαρίων 10-20 Χ 3-5 χιλ, ελλειπτικά έως ωοειδή-στενόμακρα. Ενα άλλο χαρακτηριστικό είναι ότι τα κάτω δόντια του κάλυκα είναι ίσα ή και μεγαλύτερα απο το tube (δεν ξέρω πως να το μεταφράσω το κάτω σωληνωτό μέρος του κάλυκα.
