Torilis leptophylla (L.) Rchb.f.
Erect, moderately branched annual, 10–40 cm tall. Leaves 2- or 3-pinnatisect into small, lanceolate ultimate segments. Umbels mostly leaf-opposed; peduncles straight, 2–5 cm. Rays 2 or 3, diverging; bracts lacking; bractlets lanceolate, setose. Petals minute, white or pinkish. Fruit 5–6 mm, narrowly oblong; primary ridges with short, stiff, appressed hairs; secondary ridges with long, spreading, glochidiate spines (much longer than width of mericarp), somewhat confluent at base.
