Alyssum simplex Rudolph

Alyssum simplex Rudolph x Alyssum minus Rothm.
Annual with few to several ascending stems 5–20 cm. Leaves elliptic-oblanceolate, the lower often absent at anthesis, with 6–8-rayed, subappressed stellate hairs. Flowers in a raceme, elongating and cylindrical in fruit. Petals c. 2.5 mm, spathulate, retuse or slightly emarginate, pale yellow. Sepals caducous. Siliculae usually 4–5 mm, suborbicular; valves inflated, densely covered with 8-rayed stellate hairs; style 0.5–1 mm, minutely stellate-pubescent. Seeds narrowly winged.
