Orlaya daucoides (L.) Greuter
Erect, sparingly branched annual, 15–45 cm tall. Lower leaves triangular in outline, 2- or 3-pinnate with small, pinnatisect ultimate segments. Umbels terminal on long peduncles. Rays 2–3(–4), stiff, erecto-patent; bracts and bractlets conspicuous, lanceolate, with scarious margins. Petals white, the outer much larger than the inner (4–6 mm), deeply bilobed. Fruit 8–11 mm; primary ridges setulose; secondary ridges with long, uncinate spines confluent at base.
