Micromeria juliana (L.) Benth. ex Rchb.
Dwarf shrub with many ascending to erect, slender, usually simple, patently or retrorsely puberulent flowering stems 15–35 cm. Cauline leaves 3–8 mm, subsessile, puberulent, with ± revolute margins, those on main stems broadly lanceolate, usually with dwarf shoots of smaller, ± linear leaves in their axils. Inflorescence of many, shortly separated verticillasters forming a long, narrow spike. Floral leaves linear-oblong. Verticillasters of 2 pedunculate, dense cymes each with 4–10 flowers. Calyx c. 3 mm, straight, glabrous in throat; teeth erect, subulate, half as long as tube. Corolla small (c. 5 mm), pinkishpurple. Nutlets acute.
