Coronilla scorpioides (L.) Koch
Glabrous, somewhat glaucous annual, usually branched from base, with slender, ascending stems 10–20 cm. Leaves sessile, mostly 3-foliolate with 1 pair of small, suborbicular lateral leaflets and a large, broadly elliptic-oblong terminal leaflet. Stipules leaf-opposed, small, connate. Flowers 2–5 in axillary, pedunculate umbels. Calyx c. 1.5 mm; teeth short or obsolete. Corolla 4–6 mm, yellow. Legume linear, 2–4 cm long, usually much curved, prominently articulated.
