Bupleurum gracile d'Urv.

Bupleurum glumaceum: Erect annual, 10–50(–100) cm tall. Leaves linear. Umbels long-pedunculate, 4–6(–8)-rayed. Bracts 4 or 5, up to 2/3 as long as longest ray, lanceolate, acuminate, 3-veined, with scarious margins. Bractlets 5, enclosing flowers before and after anthesis, elliptical, short-acuminate, 3-veined, with scarious margins contrasting with green central part. Petals ± dentate at bend, with long lobe. Fruit broadly cylindrical, with inconspicuous ridges.

To Bupleurum gracile αντικατέστησε το παρόμοιο B. glumaceum στην περιοχή του Αιγαίου και αναγνωρίζεται εύκολα απο τα βράκτια τα οποία είναι λεπτά και μεμβρανώδη παντού εκτός απο τις 3 ραβδώσεις.
