Ψωραλέα η ασφάλτοσμος (Bituminaria bituminosa (L.) C.H.Stirt.)
Perennial, slightly woody at base, sparsely appressed-pubescent throughout; stems suberect, generally 30–70 cm tall. Leaves trifoliolate, glandular-punctate, smelling distinctly of petrol when crushed; leaflets entire, mucronulate. Peduncles much longer than subtending leaf. Inflorescence short, capitate. Calyx tubular-campanulate, the lower tooth somewhat longer than the other 4. Corolla 15–20 mm, blue or purplish. Legume ovoid, 1-seeded, indehiscent, with a falcate beak.
