Cerastium glomeratum Thuill.
Slender annual with one to several, erect to ascending stems 12–30 cm tall. Lower cauline leaves obovate, obtuse. Upper part of stem and inflorescence ± glandularpubescent. Pedicels shorter than or equalling calyx, flowers thus congested in cymose clusters. Sepals 3–5 mm, lanceolate, acute, with scarious margins. Petals shorter than or almost equalling calyx. Capsule cylindrical, up to twice as long as calyx, curved in upper part. Seeds c. 0.5 mm, pale brown, tuberculate.
