Μπελαρντία η χνουδωτή (Bellardia trixago (L.) All.)
Erect, glandular-pubescent annual. Stem simple or occasionally branched from base, 15–35 cm tall. Cauline leaves in several pairs, narrowly oblong-lanceolate, coarsely and obtusely serrate. Flowers in a dense terminal spike, 3–7 cm at anthesis, elongating in fruit. Upper bracts large, broadly ovate, entire. Calyx with 2 unequally lobed lips. Corolla large and showy (20–25 mm); upper lip narrow, hooded, rose-pink; lower lip broad, 3-lobed, white, with 2 bulges on middle lobe. Style long, slender, persistent. Capsule c. 10 mm, ovoid, pilose.
