Τραγοπώγων ο πρασόφυλλος (Tragopogon porrifolius L.)
Tragopogon coelesyriacus: Robust biennial with fairly stout taproot. Stems one to several, (10–)30–50 cm tall. Leaves linear, grass-like. Peduncles long, swollen below capitulum in fruit. Phyllaries c. 8, linear-lanceolate. Ligules pale lilac to dusky violet, much shorter than phyllaries. Body of achene c. 16 mm, slender, muricate, pale brown; beak indistinctly separated from body, 16–20 mm, slender, slightly clavate above; pappus c. 30 mm, pale dusky brown.
Resembling T. coelesyriacus, but leaves linear-lanceolate, the lower cauline leaves with broad sheathing base; ανθίδια μικρότερα ή ίσα με τα φυλλάρια; inner achenes usually smooth; beak of achenes at least as long as body, not clavate at apex.
