Ornithogalum divergens Boreau παλαιότερα Ornithogalum umbellatum
Bulb c. 2 × 1.5 cm, broadly ovoid, with numerous, ± stipitate offsets (especially in forms adapted to traditional agriculture). Leaves 4–7, ascending to erect, linear, canaliculate, 3–6 mm wide, green with a whitish stripe on upper surface, glabrous. Aerial part of scape 5–15 cm. Inflorescence 6–15-flowered, wide. Pedicels erecto-patent to slightly deflexed, the lowest fruiting pedicels 5–9 cm; bract 1/2–2/3 as long as pedicel. Perianth segments 18–30 mm, white above, with a broad green stripe beneath. Style half as long as ovary. Capsule obovoid-oblong, with 6 narrow angles.
