Geranium robertianum: Annual or biennial, usually sparsely patent-pilose; όλο το φυτό με μυρωδιά βρωμερή, συχνά κοκκινωπό όσο ωριμάζει. Leaf blade angular in outline, pinnate with 3–5 principal divisions; ultimate lobes broadly ovate, apiculate. Pedicels slender, glandular-pubescent. Sepals erect, broadly lanceolate, aristate. Πέταλα 10–15 χιλ, clearly differentiated into claw and limb, purplish-pink. Γύρη πορτοκαλί. Mericarps with few, inconspicuous ridges on surface and 1 or 2 collarlike ridges at apex.

Μοιαζει με το G. robertianum και συχνά αναφέρεται σαν υποείδος του, έχοντας το ίδιο περίπου περιβάλλον και μυρωδιά, αλλά διαφέρει στα ακόλουθα: Μικρότερα πέταλα (5–9 χιλ); γύρη κίτρινη; mericarps with dense wrinkle-like ridges on surface and 2 or 3 deep collar-like ridges at apex.

Sepals 5–8 mm, shortly cuspidate. Petals slightly longer than sepals, elliptical, pink or mauve. Apical pit of mericarp large, with stalked gland; beak 25–40 mm, slender.

Ultimate segments of leaves elliptic-lanceolate; petiole very short, sparsely eglandular-pubescent. Peduncles eglandular below; bracts brown. Sepals 5-8 mm, with appressed, eglandular hairs. Petals 7-12 mm, lilac, equal, without black patch. Apical pits of mericarp eglandular, with a fairly distinct furrow at the base. 2n = 40. Σε ξηρές περιοχές λέει η Flora Europaea, σε εύκρατα Μεσογειακά λειβάδια το VPG. Η περιγραφή και η διάκριση απο τα άλλα είδη και κυρίως απο το, εξαιρετικής ποικιλομορφίας E. cicutarium, λίγο ασαφής. Σύμφωνα με τον Σταύρο τα μικρά σε μέγεθος φυτά, με τα πολύ μκρότερα φυλλάρια και τα σαφώς διαχωρισμένα πέταλα αφορούν στο συγκεκριμένο είδος. Και αυτό με αρκετές αμφιβολίες... Petals 5–9 mm, slightly longer than sepals, rounded at apex, pinkish-purple. Mericarps strigose, with a rounded, rather deep, usually glabrous and glossy pit at top; beak 3–4 cm.

Μοιάζει με το E. chium, αλλά διαφέρει στα ακόλουθα: Leaves long-petiolate, oblong, undivided or shallowly lobed, serrate; apical pit of mericarp with multicellular glands and a wide furrow below the pit; beak somewhat shorter (18–35 mm).
