Rumex crispus L.

Perennial; stem(s) solitary or few, erect, rather robust, 30–80(–150) cm tall. Basal leaves long-petiolate; blade 5–10(–20) × 2–4 cm, oblong-lanceolate, usually with strongly undulate margins. Inflorescence large, moderately branched; lower whorls remote, the upper ± confluent. Fruiting valves 3–5 × 3–5 mm, orbicular-ovate to broadly triangular, usually cordate at base, entire or shallowly dentate; one valve with a large tubercle, the others without or with smaller tubercles.
