Allium roseum L.

Bulb ovoid, usually with numerous stipitate bulblets; tunics membranous, the outermost ± crustaceous, pitted, pale brown. Stem 20–60 cm. Leaves 2–4, almost basal, linear, flat, 3–12 mm wide, glabrous. Umbel fastigiate or hemispherical, to 7 cm in diam., with or without bulbils. Spathe 3- or 4-lobed, short, membranous, persistent. Perianth campanulate; segments 7–12 mm, rose-pink or almost white. Anthers included, yellow.
